So, I have mentioned in class that GIMP and Photoshop operate in very similar ways and that they have essentially all the same tools, with nearly identical icons, but with different names. In class, you may often hear me use the Photoshop name for a tool. This is to help you. After this class, I want you to be able to say you have skills in Photoshop, and having the correct names for tools is integral to that. Below is a comparison of tools in GIMP with their Photoshop counterparts.
